RIT Liquid Fabric Dye More Synthetic 207ml TROPICAL TEAL
This will dye fabrics of Polyester Cotton Blends, Polyesters, Nylons, Acrylics and Acetates. Package colour indicates approximate results when used on white fabric.

Never use on "Dry clean only" fabrics.
Stove top method is required for dying synthetic fabrics.

NB:- I know this sounds silly to most people having to state this. Please remember, if using this colour dye on an already pre-coloured fabric, the resultant colour will be a mix of those colours. (ie using blue dye on red fabric will NOT result in blue fabric). I state this as we have had a complaint from a customer who attempted to dye dark blue jeans red, and complained that they turned out purple!!).
No matter what you plan to dye, whether it’s a pair of jeans or curtains, the first step is to choose the right dye for your fabric or material. Always check the care label for the fiber content of the item you plan to dye.
This dye is for synthetic fibers, which include polyester, acrylic, acetate and nylon. If you have a blended garment that contains more than 35% synthetic fibers, this is the dye you will need to use. If you are dyeing a garment with less than 35% synthetic fibers, use Rit All-Purpose Dye instead.
Important Notes:-
Stovetop Method
Due to the complexity of dyeing synthetics, you must use the stovetop method to maintain an almost boiling temperature for the duration of your dyeing (200 F° or greater). Accordingly:
(1) you cannot dye anything that won’t fit into a pot on your stove and
(2) you cannot use your washer because the machine won’t be able to achieve the water temperature needed for Rit DyeMore to penetrate the fabric.
Color
If the garment you are dyeing is white or off white, then you should be able to achieve true color. However, if your garment has an existing color, then your only option is to overdye it with a darker color. Unfortunately, Rit Color Remover will most likely not work on your synthetic garment.
Patterns and Logos
If you are dyeing something with a print or logo: If you use Color Remover, it will most likely not remove the color from a print or logo. Accordingly, the color you choose to overdye with will mix with the existing color(s) in the fabric and create new colors. In other words, the rules of color mixing apply. When selecting a color, think about how it will mix with the colors in the pattern. For example, if you were to use a blue dye on a white item with a pink flower pattern, the pink flowers will turn purplish (blue and pink make purple) while the rest of the fabric will dye blue. Even if you were to overdye the patterned garment with a dark color, you may find that the color will appear lighter along the patterned area.
Bleach Stains and Sun Damage
Sun and bleach actually damage fabric, making it very difficult to dye. Unfortunately, that means we cannot guarantee dye will cover up the stains.
PLEASE NOTE:- Rit Dyes are in the process of putting a seal under the lids of their dyes. Some bottles may have these seals in place, whilst others may not. Until all wholesalers, retailers and the Rit warehouses have sold the bottles without seals, some may be supplied without the seal, others may have the seal (newly processed bottles).
Also PLEASE NOTE:- Rit dye bottles use the same 250ml sized bottle for all the synthetic and standard dyes. The synthetic dyes have a minimum of 207ml per bottle, the standard dyes a minimum of 236ml. Some bottles will have slightly more than these minimums, and therefore each bottle liquid level may be slightly different, this is quite normal.

POSTAGE INFORMATION
All orders are sent via Australia Post with your choice of postage type. All orders come with tracking and insurance cover at no extra charge.
If you choose signature on delivery, the parcel will need to be signed for, if the recipient is not home for verification, the item will be carded. This card will be left at the address supplied and will indicate where your parcel may be collected from. In most cases the parcel will be located at your local Australia Post Office / Depot.
Please allow 0-2 business days processing time before your parcel is sent. In most cases it will be within the first 24hrs as we aim to dispatch every order off ASAP.
*FREE Shipping for orders over $150.00 is only available for retail customers within Australia and is sent via standard parcel post only.

Standard Post Signature Required - Signature required is an extra $2.95 above the calculated postage.
EXPRESS POST - Starting at $14.10, calculated by total weight by Australia Post. Typical delivery time* after shipping = 1 to 2 business days depending on your location.
*Please note: Time frame estimates are from when the parcel is sent and only account for business days. All orders are processed and sent as soon as possible as we know how important it is to receive your purchase promptly. These do not include delays outside our control as once Australia Post has your parcel, we trust they will get it to you ASAP.
International
Normally we ship World Wide, but due to COVID-19, and some fraudulent cases, currently we only ship to New Zealand, postage is calculated by total weight in the cart using Australia Post rates and our postage calculators can be used to check this before purchase.
INTERNATIONAL TAXES & DUTIES - Our postal charge does NOT include taxes and duties, which may be applied by customs in the country of delivery. All payments of taxes & duties are the responsibility of the customer and usually determined on the value of your order. Orders will not be refunded if taxes and duties are not paid and you choose to not pick up your order.

MISSING PARCELS
On the event that your parcel is held up or is lost, it may take up to three months to receive an answer from the Australia Post Investigation Team. Unfortunately these are Australia Post time frames are out of our control, we will do our best to rectify the issue ASAP.
INCORRECT INFORMATION
Once your order has been placed no changes are able to be made. Please double check your shipping address is correct before confirming your order. Business addresses must include the business name.
If parcels are not collected, or are required to be returned to sender due to insufficient or incorrect information, postage costs are unable to be refunded (this includes both original postage cost to get the item to you [including for items sent via our free post offer], and the return postage charged to us by Auspost). Once you have placed your order, you are committing to the sale and declaring that all information entered including the shipping address is correct.
If you do find you have entered incorrect shipping information please Contact Us ASAP and we will correct the mistake if we have not dispatched your parcel.

Returns Policy
WHAT can be returned?
Many of our products can be returned if found to have manufacturing defects, or are not as described. For "Change of Mind" returns, please contact us in advance, as cut items, such as fabrics, elastic etc cannot be returned as change of mind.
Items such as fabrics, elastics and other items that are cut to length cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
WHEN do items need to be returned by?
Items need to be returned to our store within 21 days of purchase.
HOW do customers return items?
You will need a Return Authority number for an item to be returned. Please contact us to obtain this RA number, and let us know the problem that has occurred.
